So we'll have to pay for the privilege of watching Motogp next year with an over priced subscription package.

Bugger that I'll catch it online somehow.

FUCK!

Sad I hated BT already, refuse to go back to them. I'd rather stick to Virgin and find another way to view it not legally.

Here is the email contact should you wish to let them know how you feel about this deal. I sent a civilised one, which said BT is wank.

Dear Manufacturers,

We've decided that it's in our short term financial interests to sharply reduce the number of people watching your two wheeled marketing mobiles.

We trust that this will have absolutely no effect on advertising revenues, or your commitment to, or investment in, motorsport.

Yours faithfully,

Herp Derp Dorna

£80 to watch a years MotoGP? plus videos of all the old races? I think it seems like a deal especially as you would have to pay for it with BT anyway.

Why's the pass cheaper in France?

I'm a BT broadband subscribers and noticed that the sports channel is going to free to all broadband subscribers spending over £15 a month.

British Eurosport viewer, £2.50 per month so no need to subscribe during the winter layoff. It streams fine on an old Pentium 1 laptop, seamless on anything more modern.
AND, you also get the World Supers AND BSB on the day, rather than waiting for ITV 4. Win win all the way.
(Its meant I could give that tosser Branson the heave, the only sport I watch is motorcycling and he was forcing me to pay for all the nancy's chasing balls around).

I might be wrong but.....

Doesn't this mean the BBC do not own any rights to any motorsport?

I remember I was very interested in F1 when it was on BBC/ITV.. I watched pretty much all qualis/races and practice sessions even. I remember sitting on my sofa with my laptop next to me showing live timing for all sectors and race inself on my TV. I knew a lot about F1, drivers, teams, I was an active F1 forum member and every race was exciting.

I haven't seen one live race since it was moved to Sky. I don't know current driver standings, I don't even know the names of all the drivers or what teams they are in. It's a dead sport for me now.

It's going to be the same with MotoGP.

Seems like a deal relative to the other pay option.

15+ hours wages (repeatedly) to watch some moving imagery?

Yeah, okay. Pirate Bay it is.

I pay less for my Internet connection than the basic package of Sky, the pricing for video media is hilarious.
