I tried fitting the original mirrors to the YBR in preparation for my test, as the previous owner swapped them with crappy aftermarket ones, could see f all out of them. Anyway, the thread looks like it's stripped on the bolt which attaches the offside mirror.

Looking on ebay they come in different sizes, does anybody know the standard size which the YBR uses?

Someone's tried to fit a nearside mirror on the off-side fitting.
The nearside and offside mirrors have opposing threads.

Is the thread completely stripped right into the fitting?
If not, you may be able to still pick up enough of the old thread to fit a proper threaded off side mirror in there.
