Welcome to BCF! Very... Unique Mr. Green

Is that 2 air filters at the front? Doesn't it have the air box at the back? Also its gonna go a lot faster without the L plate on the back working as an air brake. When ya doing your test and what route are you taking to get ya license? Wink

lol, thanks all, I done my CBT 3 weeks ago , and bought this off a mate , not a bad first bike , im not really a sports bike person tbh , I like the look of them , but most of my mates either look too fat on their little 125 sports bikes, or too long in the leg , im sure its not the case on proper bikes , but as for 125's this seems to be the rule. (at least for my mates anyway lol)

Im hoping to do my full license within the next few months , and then hope to buy a Harley ......

Will I get slated on here for that lol ???

Oooooooh if only you knew..... Laughing I say good for you, if you want a Harley, you get a Harley. I don't mind em myself, but I've never ridden one, and I opted for a Fazer as that seemed more practical for me.

As for your current choice of bike, well, it's your first bike, you'll love it whatever. It looks a bit battered and bodged though.... how much did you pay for it?

Pass the popcorn

They look more like breathers than filters, had one on the crankcase of my CBR125.

Have to say i hate the look of it, but if it keeps you happy its all that matters.

For a Harley most of the biking community in the UK will slate you, but fuck em. Your money, your taste, your choice. Thumbs Up

I would say though, as a long lasting all weather bike for Britain, Harleys don't have the best reputation for not rotting. Is it the Harley name you like or cruisers in general? Would you consider a Triumph or Japanese cruiser?

This.

Jap or Euro cruisers are far better bikes. Even if you try a Harley, do not buy one until you have ridden something like a Triumph Thunderbird or a Suzuki M1800. Both will blow away a Harley in performance and reliability at a reasonable price. It's easy to blow 5-6 grand on a second hand shitpiece basic Harley that looks like it's been dredged up from the seabed because it's done 5k miles.

Let's face it, as said higher up, it is your first bike and youo'll love it.

My first riding was a Rieju50, now up to a 125Supermoto and love them both, anything to get out of the tin box and on 2 wheels.

As for the Harley, the impression i get is that they are a bit of a Marmite bike, you either love them or hate them.

Either way, keep the faith and get as much of a good bike as you can afford, or if you can't quite afford it, don't make do with second best just for the sake of upgrading, better to wait for another couple of paychecks and get what you really want, than have to have it now and be disapointed that you did not wait later on.

Just my opinion Smile

The front wheel appears to have herpes

I like it, considering it's a cruiser, it looks ratted Laughing

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

CBT 3 years ago and first bike now? Is that right?

Bike is bike, it's a 125 cruiser, I could run faster and the front wheel has been jizzed on. As said though, it's your bike, and its your first bike so who gives a shit what we think, you should and will love it regardless.
