I think Krad might have some comments to make on this one. Wink

I wonder if there's some backstory here. He saw that car pull up and went straight to tool up. Either this happens a lot, or he was specifically anticipating being targeted.

Either way, stellar job, it's just a shame that what looked like a courageous accomplice heroically scarpered.

Just shows how conditioned people are nowadays when you can watch a video of someone being shot dead and just be like 'meh, I'm hungry'.

He deserved the pieces of metal tearing through his flesh and he deserved to die. He was prepared to kill to get the car, so he should be prepared to die.

I do agree with the above...

...But for all we know there is ssooooo much more too this.

Just because the title says its a 'robbery' doesn't mean it wasn't a hit man/a revenge kill ect. For all we know the guy who killed the supposed 'thief' was a murder who raped and killed the guys wife.....heh, we just don't know.

I think that de-sensitised would be a better word.

Anyway, the scum deserved what he got, you can't stick a gun up in someones face and then be surprised if they shoot you back. Bringing out a gun is initiating lethal force.....

Anyway I didn't find the OP disturbing in the slightest.

This one however: https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e91_1324341647 gets me right in the feels whenever I watch it.

(It's a vid of a shooting, nothing too epically graphic but make sure you have the sound turned on)

Strangely stuff like the OP video and your video doesn't bother me in the slightest because I know that not everyone carries a gun for protection in the UK, same with public hanging, stonings, suicide bombers etc etc. I've seen a lot of videos of death in all my years and the only ones that make my toes curl is seeing people beaten to death

The first video didn't bother me, but your one did, hearing the cop scream in agony and beg him to stop.. don't know how anyone with a heart could shrug that off.

You can hear him whimpering at the end before the final shot, which obviously kills him since the whimpers stop. Shouldn't of gave the crazy c*nt half the chances he did though.

Wow, going to all that effort to steal... a Jeep Liberty.

I mean, c'mon, if it was a classic Wagoneer or maybe an XJ with a rear coil swap, I could understand... but a Liberty? Damn.

Standards are slipping.

The video was posted here a while ago, and I believe the cop had got into trouble a few days before for using his gun too much or something

That cop video is messed up - I remember watching it the last time it was posted. The scream when he gets shot is horrifying. From what I read, he didn't pull his gun because he'd been disciplined for doing so in the past, such a surreal serious of events, the cop didn't stand a chance.

Confused Brannan gave him every chance. Dinkheller fired first, emptied his magazine and missed with every shot. He did actually hit Brannan eventually after reloading.

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not condoning his killing, it was awful for his family. But that was pretty much the definition of a fair fight.

Asked why he killed Dinkheller, Brannan reportedly just said "Because he let me."

It wasn't a fair fight, when your in a fist fight you don't keep fighting when your opponent is clearly down and done. The cop seemed to have been. It's an awkward subject, since we don't know the full situation (where the cop was and what the situation was when he started screaming 'shit stop').

Doesn't really bare to think about tbh, if I found it so disturbing imagine how his family felt if they saw the footage. That shit would ruin me.

Since when have fights ever been fair? Judging by many of the fights I've witnessed (in colleges) once somebody goes down, yoofs think its OK to keep attacking the person on the ground.
