front suspension settings

Hi i dont seem to be getting along with my bike at the moment im finding it difficult to corner and im generally very upright and slow around most corners.

Iv done a bit of reading into how suspension works and the settings and what they do. Anyway iv noticed my front forks are set incorrect

My preload adjustment on the left hand side is on the 3rd mark and the right hand side is on the 5th mark. The factory setting says 5 marks on each side

The rebound damping adjusters are also set incorectly

Is there anything i need to be aware of when setting the forks back to factory settings as i have never adjusted suspension before.

I know ideally the suspension needs setting up properly but for now i would like my forks back to factory settings. No wonder i have no confidence in my bike
