No idea how or why, but I downloaded myself a copy of Eurotruck Simulator 2. As you may expect, it's pointless and boring. But now I'm wondering if there might be the motorcycle equivalent of this? Just a game where you can choose a load of awesome world destinations and ride around them.

Or anything really. Just looking for an interesting motorcycle game. Preferably not a bog standard racing one though. Any ideas?

Cheers Thumbs Up

The nearest thing is Test Drive Unlimited 2, which gives you Ibiza and then Hawaii to drive or ride around. You'll need to endure a few of the races to get started but then the world pretty much sits open and waits for you to go and start a race. I highly recommend it if you like just cruising around to unwind, the game outright encourages it. You can also make do with the original TDU if you like, but there's no Ibiza.

Failing that, I suppose Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas allows you to do this too, you can even ride a Gold Wing!

For TDU2 you'll need to buy the bikes as DLC (they're cheap). For GTA SA you'd be well advised to get a hacked save so the whole map is open to you, and then you can go on an epic tour (the best riding roads are in the second 'section' of the map which takes a long time to unlock)

Bad cameraphone picture of the Daytona in TDU1

EDIT: If you have a PS3 or 360, then Midnight Club LA might also be an alternative, but it's almost entirely city riding, but it looks fucking nice and is a fun game too.

No idea if it works (I don't have ETS2, waiting for the new US trucking game which they're now working on)

Thanks! I actually completed GTA about 7 years ago and then spent several extra months cruising around and killing gang members Laughing. I was after something a bit more real really. I'll have a look into that other one you suggested though, cheers! Thumbs Up
