Hi everyone!

I'm new to biking, so just thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Vicky, 29, from Liverpool but live in Lincolnshire. (Anyone who does the Sunday run from The Bards pub has probably seen me walking my dog, or stalling my bike at some point!) I'm a 125 pleb at the moment, but want to take my test before the year is out, so I'll probably be asking all manner of pathetic questions on here. I apologise in advance!!

Very Happy

At last! Someone else with the same bike as me Smile
and yes, you could get a little more out of it.
I clocked mine at a mind blowing 64.5 (sat nav speed) this afternoon on the flat.

I pretty much know mine inside out (due to taking it to many pieces over the last year!) so if you have any problems with it feel free to give me a shout. Very Happy

Not that many to be honest...it was a non-runner when I bought it and really hadn't been looked after Sad
(got it running within 10 minutes of getting it home though Very Happy )
The only serious issue was when I was given semi-synthetic 2-stroke oil for it (instead of the recommended fully synthetic) and I ended up having to replace the big end bearing as well as a new piston etc...

They're certainly a funky little bike though! I could sell it to buy a bigger one but don't really want to part with it Wink

Welcome, maybe we can discuss stalling techniques, I'm a master at it, normally when trying to impress ladies with the mighty CG125!

I've got to say, I'm not that into mine. I used to have a Suzuki Intruder and I'm aiming to sell the Aprilia and get back to them... I prefer a 4 stroke anyway, and there's something a bit too flouncy about this bike for me Confused ... No offence though! I do agree they're a very nice looking bike! Smile

I just go the long way to the main road from my house, even if I don't stall the XJR1300 on the end makes my bike look a bit crap!
