Everything seems slightly muffled and i'm struggling to hear people aswell the last couple of days, seems worse at the minute

Is my helmet making me deaf or something
The wind noise is pretty bad past 60mph, it has head and mouth vents I can close and open but they don't seem to do shit, i'm thinking gaffa tape

Where's that post where I lolled at people for having ear buds

Its just a bit of ear wax dude, i had the same thing in my left ear, everything was muffled like i had an earplug in. I got my ears syringed by the nurse and everything was back to normal.

Go to the chemist and get some oil to soften ear wax - that may be enough to loosen the blockage. You would need to do that before getting your ears syringed in any case.

My lid was one of the quietest on Ride tests quite a few years back, and it still comes in above the HSE threshold for mandatory provision of hearing protection at 70mph. You should seriously consider hearing protection for long journeys as a minimum if you dont want to suffer in later years.
