I have a Suzuki gsr 600 and with the exhaust system under the seat carrying stuff is a little awkward so I am looking at getting a good ruck sack, I have about £50 to spend so can anyone recommend me a good one around that price, cheers.

Lomo Daysacks are unbeatable for the price and totally waterproof. After the Lomo won the Ride Magazine 'Best Buy' award Oxford released a similar product that looked identical in construction. Only difference is the Oxford is about twice the price Confused

Bastard ! .... typica;l of me to buy on impulse rather than shopping around They are good bags though if you have to move stuff in winter when the rain is hammering it down .

Get a used kriega on eBay, got an r25 for about half the price of new and it really is impressive. Takes all the weight off your shoulders and back.

Another vote for kriega. Not cheap new but it's worth it. Been using an R25 continually for three years and there is no sign of anything failing. Very comfortable to.

Sports Direct are outing Karimore rucks for fifteen sobs round my manor atm. Can't go wrong at that price, quality seems ok as well.

https://www.ghostbikes.com/products/luggage-backpacks-and-rucksacks/3565-knox-k-pack-motorcycle-rucksack.html I've used that for over a year n love it. Comes with a waterproof helmet bag to carry your helmet on the back whilst walking about or carrying a spare, a visor pouch is velcro'd in the bottom of the bag too. Removal bum bag on the front incase you swing that way

Just bought a karrimor sf sabre 30 and it's great. Not too cheap at £60, but really well made.

Am I the only person that uses budget cheap normal ruck sacks here? I mean mostly you lot seem to go for motorcycle specific bags that cost a small fortune. I spent £12.99 on ebay on my bag and its around 35L, waterproof and can carry a box of beers with room for munchies.

No I bought a Nike rucksack two years ago, used it rain or shine, big enough and still waterproof, great bag I was thinking about buying an Oxford bag, but having second thoughts now.

Quality has gone really downhill I find. My normal rucksack fell to bits in <1 year of use and it was barely strained.

If I'm riding down to see the missus for a few days, I'll use the Boblbee Megalopolis I picked up cheap off eBay, but if I don't need to carry much then I use a Timbuk2 sling bag.

Another Kriega fan here, wouldn't use anything else tbh. The abuse my R25 has been put through is staggering.

I have a 25 litre Knox K-Pack which I love, not water proof but does have an integrated cover built in which just fits over the whole bag. Think I paid £45 for it.

Bought an Adidas bag for £5 from sports direct.

Just put my cloths in a plastic carrier which makes it waterproof in the bag lol.

Rucksacks lost their appeal for me after I came off and buggered my back on the contents (shoes and a laptop).

Nowadays I feel a bit safer strapping everything to the bike with a luggage net.

I paid £50 for my Oxford Rucksack 11 years ago. Still in use today, pretty water proof even without the cover over it. real heavy rain it gets damp but that's without the cover on, holds a helmet as well, only thing wrong with it is that the plastic buckle as broken at the top.

Ive left it outside for months on end behind my shed when didn't have a bike and washed it in machine and I'm still using it.

Cant say anything bad about it.

+1 to Kriega, have the R20, R25 and an R35.. The weight distribution is a god send to your back. Puts it all on your chest and hips, feels like the bag isn't there Very Happy Expensive, but when you see that their original krug bags are still around... you know they're built to last!

Make any rucksack 100% waterproof by putting it's contents in a drybag.

A local outdoor shop seems to have some decent ones at a fairly cheap price:

Have used a karrimor rucksack I've had for years daily to carry a change of clothes, pair of shoes and lunch every weekday since I started riding. When it rains I use the raincover that's attached.

Waterproof enough and I don't have a problem with the weight on my back (although I'm an ex soldier and maybe used to having weight on my back).

Those drybag rucksacks look good, may invest in one if mine decides to fall apart.
