Hello all,

Was just wondering if you could give me any advice on a decent 125 supermoto.

not really fussed on price and all but for performance wise looks and reliability im really stuck on what to get, i would prefer a 2 stroke but its hard to find a decent one that hasn't been battered around.

yamaha wr125x

derbi senda sm 125 opionions on these?

thanks! Very Happy

Depends what you want it for. If you want it to do loads of miles a year, then a 2-stroke isn't that ideal, as they need new pistons and rings after a few/several thousand miles.

A later model DT will come standard with supermoto wheels. The DTX models I think, but the pre 1996 DTR's are quicker if you're looking for speed. You CAN do a supermoto conversion yourself, but it involves sourcing DTX forks, speed-o drive and the wheels. Can cost a fair bit too, seeing as DTX forks are hard to get hold of.

Husqvarna 125's (Smr, te and sms) are great if u ask me, i've ridden the smr125 and it's great fun, if u can afford it.. get one! Very Happy

Husqvarna smr125

They're 4 strokes and its a Husqvarna so it's reliable, it has 14bhp and top out at about 70ish and look sexy if u ask me and only weigh like 110kg.

Or u can buy it brand new from a husky dealer for £3,800 with 2 year warranty as well Smile

There's a few sm and smr's on autotrader too...

The best thing about stickers is they are removable Wink
