Dual Sport tyre recommendations please

Looking for some dual sport tyre recommendations please for my CRF250L

Minimum off road use, lots of on road use and long lasting is on my wish list

The stock tyres that came with my bike from the factory will need replaced soon, particularly the rear. 5500 road miles done and its about done.

Before I go hunting I wouldn't mind a few pointers and recommendations.

I used them on a XL125. Longevity wasn't their best point but on-road feel and on gravel or grass they were good.

Good long lasting aggressive tires best mix of off road capability and life I've come across so far. (copy of the the Michelin T63)

The e-09 rears are good for around 5000 miles on/off road, plus there cheap to buy.

Another vote for the Siracs.
I found them pretty good on the tarmac and much better than i expected off road, as long as it didnt get muddy...

Metzeler Tourance also come highly reccomended.

I had a pair of Michelin Anakee 2s on my xt600 and it transformed the road handling compared to the Continental TKC80 I had before. I didn't try the Anakees off road, and I believe there is an Anakee 3 out not.

They also didn't last that long, maybe 7000km?

Have a look at Meffo super explorer, very good on road, very capable off road, except in deep mud, people have clocked some serious mileage on these. Zen overland are stockist (no I'm not related or employed by them)

Try the K60 scout, best true duel sport 50/50 out there IMHO, long lasting and good on wet tarmac.

K60 scout is near identical to the meffo super explorer so should do the same job, so close you would think they came from the same factory?

I like the Sahara 3s - mostly for road use, but will do dry off road find and muddy off road ok providing you're happy with the bike deciding where to go not you!

Thanks for all the options. I ended up opting for a Bridgestone Trailwing, mostly because I'm familiar with the brand and because it was £66 + £10 delivery from blackcircles.com. A decent price I thought after a wee online hunt. I'm fitting it myself this weekend which will be a first for me. Levers and a new tube bought.
