hi
i`m new to the forum, could any body help, i have a 1987 kawasaki z550 gt g-4, what is the best grade of oil to use is it 40/50 or something else? Rolling Eyes

I had a '92 GT550, pretty sure I used 10W/40 semi synthetic.

If the bikes mileage is around 30,000+ miles then an ordinary mineral oil will suffice.It will cause a slight drag on the engine but as the bike is not a performance machine you may well not notice the differance.

ASDA sell 4 litres of mineral oil for £16 the last time that I bought some for my CB125T2.
