Kawasaki ZX6R J1 (2000) model
This bike is ready to go race (fully lock wired to ACU standards) or perfect for track days.
Good points:
Both front and rear shocks fully serviced at the start of the year and 9.5 k tech springs put in the front
Head race bearings replaced at the start of the year
Regular oil/filter changes (one just done)
Custom stubby foot pegs for extra clearance
Spare set of wheels in green with discs and sprocket carrier (could do with a good clean/respray)
I do have another set of fairings with no oil catch tray but these are in need of quite a bit of fibreglass repairs to be usable
New spark plugs at start of the year
Goodridge braided lines on the front (2 lines - direct to calipers)
Calipers fully stripped, cleaned and fitted with new seals all round at the start of the year
Akrapovic end can
Crash bobbins on forks and swing arm and can be fitted on the side (fairings have holes ready) but I'm not currently running them
Carbs stripped, cleaned and balanced at the start of the year
New chain and sprockets at the start of the year.
14 & 15 tooth front sprockets, 40, 44 and 46 rears
Spare sub frame (needs slightly straightened)
Spare set of front brake pads with a fair few days left in them (changed them early)
V5 and can go back on the road if needed (has rear light to meet road stock regs)
Spare handle bars
Bad points:
DIY spray job on the main fairings, not perfect but it's a track bike
Rear fairing has a few cracks and bits of the gel coat missing
Engine casing has been repaired
Odd marks here and there, if you want a mint bike without sorting a few bits this bike isn't for you
Dent either side of the tank from a recent off at Rockingham
DIY oil catch tray lip - needs spraying if you are fussed about looks
Few marks on the rims from manual tyre changing
Overall this is a good solid bike and has done me well so far, I've picked up 2 x 2nd places at EMRA a couple of weekends ago and a couple of 4ths at Thundersport GB last weekend, both at Cadwell. I've done a 1.42.4 around there on this but it's me holding it back and it's good for much more with a better rider. Really competitive and fun bike in golden era or pre injection.
Has 17,000 miles on it so far and the engine hasn't missed a beat since I bought it with 10,000 on it.
Looking for £1600 with the spare wheels as I need a quick sale, located in Berkshire.

Two pictures above were taken before slight damage to tail unit and tank happened. ____________________ Thundersport Pre-National Sport 600 2014 #92
