unexpected , heard no knocking or rattling other than the usual shit from a gs then all of a sudden at the lights today it was like someone opened up my oil cap and threw in a load of bearings.

Massive amount of rattling and loss of power Sad

You are not the only one bud.
I have been trying to get a Pan for ages, supposed to be uber reliable great machines this that and the other,
After getting a mate to ride it up from Wiltshire for me I took it out for a ride and discovered
The brakes are shite
the shockers are shite, the clutch disappears with no warning, the top of the fork tubed are pitted and need replacing the exhaust is blowing but that will be at a joint somewhere as its supposed to be stainless, Though there are signs of corrosion.
And the thing makes a disgusting sound..

No idea if I will get the guy to take it back but all in all its PANTS !

Another one here with a problem Evil or Very Mad

The kickstart in the CG has snapped. I've been trying for the past 1/2 hour to get the thing started and it was having none of it. I gave it a good firm kick and the bloody lever snapped at the base, another £25 gone, just had new tyres fitted today as well Mad
