Right, need a friendly Mot place in Brum where they will let the odd thing slide, such as an illegal plate with no little reflective thingy, questionable exhaust volume and a missing set of indicators.

Need to get my Suzie back on the road, with as little expense as possible.
Cheers fellas

You will need indicators. It is a fail unless you tape up all the lights.
You then do not need a reflector.
Illegal plate is 50/50 depending on where you go, its £7 for a new one on ebay.

How does taping up all the lights make it pass then? If this really works I owe you a blowjob!

They put an advisory on saying lights not tested, realistically you "shouldn't" go out after dark with it.

I did, didn't get a tug over a year period.

Tape everything aside from the horn button. Switchgear, front and back lights.

Realistically horn, speedo and numberplate are required at the station.

I know the place, 2 separate shops a door or two away from each other on the Stratford road by the old Shakespeare pub if I'm on about the right place?

MOT is around the corner next to the Codfather Chip Shop, bang on the door until they let you in.
