Bike I aquired last week has a stubby race can and is extremely loud. Seemed cool when I was inspecting the bike before taking it but it's just a bit annoying when riding, attracts too much attention.

Anyone had any experience with fitting a decibel killer?

Stubby cans = Loud.

Buy another, less noisy can.

What can?

Depending on make and type of can you may just be able to buy a baffle and pop it in with an allen head bolt to secure it.

If it's a non road legal stubby things could be a little more difficult.

Might not have much luck. Google isn't throwing any result for Carbon Copy Co.

I had a Carbon Can Co exhaust on my B6 once. They don't seem to have a web presence now.

There is a hole in the bottom of the tip poking out so im guessing it's had one in the past.

Seen mixed reviews some saying it made no difference to the sound, maybe only top end, so just don't want to waste my money if it will do nothing with my zorst.

Could you not find one on eBay, or buy one and modify to suit?

Fit a new can. Stubby cans are too loud, look shit and rob power. Thumbs Down

Haha, I'm going to try one of these first

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/390840473648?clk_rvr_id=909958417212&item=390840473648&lgeo=1&clk_rvr_id=909958417212&rmvSB=true&vectorid=229508&rmvSB=true

If it doesn't work, a new can it will be!

If you don't mind a bit tatty one, you can usually get a second hand can for not much.

For some bikes, original cans will go for not much more than you just paid for that!

Well, my plan with this bike is go through it bit by bit and have it pristine looking!

So tatty cans are out of the question! Wink

Then our ideas of 'pristine' are rather different - mine wouldn't include a cheap tat baffle! Razz
(Not that I'd want a 'pristine' bike, of course.)

That baffle will do fuck all, as others have said new can time.
