Hi All
Do you make your own spoke wrench or buy them, if so what size for a CG.
My bike had its MOT yesterday with an advisory on the wheels, slight buckle he said, needs tweaking a bit, Ive done a mountain bike wheel in the past so it must be the same procedure.
So I thought peice of steel cut groove tidy up with needle file and jobs a good one. Opinions please.
Mark

Don't bother unless you want to round the nipples off!

Get this, used this to relaced my new rims and spokes.

As cb1rocket suggests. The hardened wrench will ensure you turn the nipples and not mash them.
WD40 or Plus-Gas spray on the nipple can help this job.

If they don't turn one way then try oing the other way.

Same as a push bike wheel.
Lots of Coffee, Tea. Go easy on the beer/wine coz even though it looks good when you finish it will really look like a pig's fat-china in the morning. Smile
