got four days in ireland planned for later in the week any ideas on places to go?

West coast if you get the weather, particularly down south. Ireland is flat - bog flat - in the middle, with mountains around the edges everywhere except the east. There are more rolling hills in the south, north-west is more barren. Hills and rivers are what normally give you curvy roads.

If you're looking for tourist attractions, I don't know. It entirely depends on what you like.

The coast road from Belfast right round to Port Stewart, there are some lovely places to stop & plenty of good cafes. Strangford Loch and through to Mourne mountains, County Down.

If you go to the west coast, we had a great time being based at Westport, just at the foot of Croagh Patrick.
