When I start the bike in the morning I allow it to warm up, put it in first and it stalls even though the clutch is in, starts immediatly afterwards allthough does jerk a little when gear selected.

Is this fairly normal or do I have a problem, I'm a new rider, passed CBT 2 weeks ago and bought this bike, a Hyosung Cruise 2 125cc.

Thanks in advance.
Graham.

Its called clutch drag. it happens when the two clutch plates do not fully disengage from one another.
Pushing the bike back and forth while the engine is running should help matters.

try giving it some revs when you go click it into gear then let the cutch out when revving.

not a real solution, but it will at least stop it stalling. thus making you look like a nub Razz

yup that happens. I find just give it some revs and hold in the front brake then kick it into 1st, it'll go no bother.
