Short term Bike insurance?

Anyone know of an insurance provider that provides short term policies?

Tried MCE ( no go) and ebike will not cover as had accident claim in last 5 years.

Only need cover until bike is sold. Evil or Very Mad

probably be more effective to get a TPFT on a monthly basis and cancel when the bike is sold (you will have to pay bullshit charges tho, but i bet this is less than the mega premium you pay for short term policies)

I cant remember the name of the company but...

When I bought my bike, before i had a licence, i wanted some kind of insurance incase the house burnt down etc.

I ended up getting a "show only policy".
It covered the bike for any kind of theft/damage.

Might be worth checking it out as it cost something like £20 for a full year.

Uh, you "need" third party insurance (or to SORN) in order to avoid the nastygrams from ~~the DVLA~~ Capita Group Plc. Show / laid up policy ain't going to cut it.

How short are we talking? It might be worth looking for insurers with the lowest admin fee and cancelling within 14 days.
