Max Power night - Monday 12th @ Ace Cafe

I've been told it's a good atmosphere Monday night at the Ace Cafe and know a few people going.... haven't been out to a meet for a while due to a rather fucked bike,

So anyone want to meet there?

I have to ride past it on my way home, its only 10 minutes from my place of work, let me know who's going. Only thing is it'd be pointless me going home just to come all the way back, so i'd be there early, like 6pm

I work in chiswick with Headlamp, yourself? Just a drive from there onto the north circ. all the way home to southgate

I'll see what's happening on the day - I'm generally in the car on a Monday for various lunch-related reasons but if the weather's good I might take the bike and make the lazy swines walk.

I don't think I'll be able to meet you to go there. I don't know what time I'll finish work, and I have orders from command central that we need to go food shopping.

So I will just meet you there. Probably won't be later than 8pm.

So... to get there yourselves... if I were you I would just take the M1 or A1 down to London then looks for signs that say A406 (North Circular) Westbound - it might say direction "Wembley". So just get on the A406 and head for Wembley. Go past the turn offs to Neasden and Wembley etc, keep going till you go over a kind of wrought-iron bridge thingy, keep going round the twisties ( ) then you will go under an underpass.

After the underpass if you look up you should see the Ace Cafe on the right set back a fair bit from the main road. At that point you take the slip road left, then take the next right over the over pass and after that turn right and it is straight ahead.

Not sure if you needed directions or not, and I'm not sure if that is entirely correct so I take no responsibility if you get lost!

ok smoto, still meeting at 6.30 bp? We could ride out earlier and meet mike at around 6. Or just meet at the already stated time, i'll bring a map, and we'll work out a route...Bearing in mind im also not too keen on riding around places i dont really know...

Mike you could ride down to us, and show us the way whilst enjoying a nice ride with 2 of your buddies. It is "out of your way" though...

What to do, any other ideas?

managed to twist Headlamp's arm into coming down for a while. Get there for between 6 and half 6 if you can? Look for the 'Park Royal' exit on the North Circular. Look up Ace Cafe on google, it has its own website, directions on there are good

How long will it take to ride down there? assuming we dont get lost? We probably will though...

If we use written directions it shouldnt be too hard to find the place. We can always ask for directions when we are close.

from that BP garage, your talking maybe an hour! Its not that far, but once your on the north circular, theres a fair bit of filtering required which slows you down

As i rember its almost on the north circular. Mike if we fly down teh A5 get on the north circular and get off teh right bit could you come get us i realy just end up confused in london might take a compas as knowing what direction i am heading in is a start
