Guy takes his R1 in for a service and asks to see the old tyre they just pulled off the bike. He realises that they have been doing burnouts on it, he also notices the huge burnout marks outside the shop.

When the manager is confronted he tells him this is a common occurrence and used a 'show' for customers.
They offered him a free oil change. Shocked

This sort of thing happens more than you think.

I've seen new scoots doing 60+ on the center stand and new triumphs with blue flames comming out of the exhaust.

Lol, free oil change and Clutch, chain and sprockets fitting would be more like it, didn't think that a garage would do that! Not suprised he's not going to be going back.

Does the page actually time out? I asked someone else on 56k to check it, took ages to load but did eventually.

Page works fine for me Smile.

If that was me I'd be on the phone to my solicitor!!

This has made me worried now, as my bike is in fowler's and has been for days.

God knows what they could be doing with it.

The last time I used a garage was well over a year ago now, they completely fooked me over when the clutch cable snapped on my rs125 they charged me £90 to fit a new one!

Then about 4 days later the clutch cable went again, this time not wanting to take it back there I gave the oracle a ring. Smile We had to take the whole clutch casing off and drain the oil because the tits at the garage had just clamped a nipple on the end of a cable, the nipple had came off and wedged its self inside the arm where the cable should go.

Since then I have not used a garage, mainly thanks to keith and a couple of other people that have helped me.
