You can sell anything on eBay they say these days! So is it the best place to sell a motorcycle with an asking price in the region of 2k?

I'm not so sure? But I'm looking for feedback from members who have sold similar valued bikes for sale, where did u get your most interest from or your final sale? Is eBay just for the cheap shite and should I be putting it up elsewhere aswell??

Your thoughts?

1500 to 2k is the fleabay sweet spot. Thats where the 15 year old shitters stop being shit and the real bargains are found ie sv650's, esoteric ducatis, import 400's etc.

Interesting you should say that, this is my advert on ebay and im just wondering if its the sort of bike best advertised elsewhere as its more crediable than alot of the ebay "bargains " you see...

Yeah, is it only worth 2k? Question Low miles, immaculate surely worth closer to 3? It seems the market for used bikes has come down a lot in the last few years?

You will be inundated by chavs trying to buy it for a gram and a pack of papers, but ultimately I never had a vehicle finish its auction on ebay. Thumbs Up

It lies somewhere between 2-2.5, dealers would try and pull it for more but tbh these bikes arnt worth what they use to be, it's a lovely bike so I'm hoping itl sell for what I'm asking tbh. Just don't want to be inundated with piss takers offering 1500 for it lol!!

I'd say biketrader followed by mcn from personal experience, ideally both.

I don't even check biketrader when looking as the website annoys me.

I'm the complete opposite, like their layout but can't stand even 2 minutes faffing around on ebay Mr. Green

Goes to show its best to advertise as many places as you can i guess or you miss a lot of potential buyers either way Thumbs Down

You could spamask here giving full specs before actually risking a tenner there? Shhh!
