hmm.
I've got my NSR125 booked in for an MOT today so I can sell it. I went to start it up just now and it started pretty quickly (wayhey) but the oil light stayed glimmering. Now I know it's not running out of oil because I topped it up the other day, plus I can still see oil at the top of the pipe.
When I rev the engine the oil light turns off, but when I stop revving it comes back on. Is this because the power hasn't fully kicked in yet (I think the battery is pretty run down because I've not used the bike for ages) or is it something more serious?
I really need to get it MOT'd today! ____________________ "The problem with the French is they have no word for 'entrepreneur' " George W Bush

thanks hopefully that means it's fine to ride to the MOT place, if I don't have time to check it myself before I go I'll ask them to have a look at it while they're checking everything else..
I don't think I could bring myself to disconnect it to sell it ____________________ "The problem with the French is they have no word for 'entrepreneur' " George W Bush

not found a buyer no, still at the 'making sure it all works' stage!
And guess what.. it failed it's MOT
Nothing too major really.. needs a new battery (which didn't surprise me at all and probably explains the oil light) but also the rear suspension has seized up. So I will be posting a thread in the workshop area shortly asking where to start with fixing that! The guy said it just needed taking apart and cleaning... ____________________ "The problem with the French is they have no word for 'entrepreneur' " George W Bush
