Hey guys,

I need some new tyres for my YBR and from what I can tell the Michelin Pilot Sportys are the ones to get!

From looking I notice that some websites don't list the 2.75 - 18s but do list the 275 - 18s?

Are they one and the same or completely different? I don't want to order some and find out they are 3x the width of my actual tyres lol

Cheers.

P sure its the same thing. You often see it represented three ways: e.g. 275-18, 2.75-18, 275/18.

Someone who actually knows will no doubt come along soon(tm). Very Happy

Sportys are proper pricey. But from what I hear amazeballs rubber. ~£76 or so for two iirc ? I cheaped out and got me22's instead for £65 inc post. Probably gonna regret that ..

I'm pretty confident they are the same thing because on some websites they list 2.75 with no 275 and on other websites it's vice-versa.

They don't seem too expensive to me, but then I bought a YBR because my car was too pricey to run so everything seems cheap lol. A full set of tyres on my car costs over 300 quid!

I would buy as a set but my rear tyre is going bald while my front has plenty of life left in it. (I know the 2.75 is for the front, just finding out this info for when I do buy one in the future)

Cheers.

Thats about £30 more expensive than from https://www.nationalbiketyres.co.uk/

Front: https://www.nationalbiketyres.co.uk/motorcycle-tyres/michelin-motorcycle-tyres/pilot-sporty/michelin-pilot-sporty-2-75-18-42p/prod_1558.html

Rear: https://www.nationalbiketyres.co.uk/motorcycle-tyres/michelin-motorcycle-tyres/pilot-sporty/michelin-pilot-sporty-90/90-18-57p-reinf/prod_1559.html

£33 front £43 rear. P&P £7 next day. Inc VAT was £81.50

I used them recently and the overnight shipping and charges are very reasonable indeed.

These despite being tubeless (you can run them with a tube on spoked rims no worries), are dead easy to fit with irons too. I had no probs doing em for my mates 250.
