It's WarZ under a different name and is absolutely appalling.

Is on the summer sales at the minute and steam doesn't mention it's WarZ on the page at all, other than in tiny fine print at the bottom, very misleading again considering all the controversy when they initially released it

Thumbs Up

Just stick with Day Z - Or Day Z Origins as I'm playing now.

I hear the Arma 2 stuff was on sale on Steam too recently, not sure if it still is as I don't use it.

Play ArmA2 for a while and get used to the interface. The training missions will get you in the habit of using the mouse wheel (and then clicking it) to perform actions.

Arma 2 is a much better game than Day Z, get Operation Arrowhead and Arma 3 Alpha Cool

DayZ has a standalone thing, search for it on steam

FAIL. It's Arma 3 Beta now and gone up in price Smile

If you click on the Arma 2 game in the steam store, you can download and install Day Z, if you have Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead.

It's 'Combined Operations' on Steam to get Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead together for cheaper than buying them seperately. The other addons (PMC, British Armed Forces, Czech Armed Forces) aren't that great.

Arma3 so far seems decent but isn't sitting my world on fire. ArmA2 and the original Flashpoint, for me, were all about either the gorgeously realized Eastern European landscapes or the feeling of really being overseas serving in the desert. A Greek Island with weird futuristic equipment isn't pushing those buttons for me.

I've been ripped off, time to murderer some civilians Neutral

I'm sure it won't be long for the Arma 2 maps to be imported and improved. Then I could expand my missions for cross continent campaigns Smile
