Crying or Very sad Just out of hospital after tboning a car at the weekend. I was very lucky and sustained only severe bruising, mainly in the groin area, not to sure about the bike, havent seen it yet, been told it's bad though. Happend between Inverness and Beauly, at Kiltarlity road junction, it's not the safest bend/turnoff at the best of times so tend to take it easy there anyway, just as well cause my injury's would have been a lot worse, anyway insurance ect to sort out now, stay safe out there people don't take anything granted Thumbs Up

I had a bad accident in the exact same spot in the late 70's. Returning to Inverness after finishing a back shift at Nigg, wrote off my RD250 and spent 4 months in Raigmore hospital.
GWS and good luck with the insurance.

That's a bastard of a piece of road often smothered with tourists more interested in the scenery than other road users.

Get well soon.

Thumbs Up Thanks everyone for the GWS messages,

CaNsA, the meat and two veg are way to big for the plate so to speak Laughing
I was a very luck laddie to sustain only severe bruising, anyway not thinking to hard on that one.
Just been to see the bike today, Deauville 650 by the way, garage wouldn't let me take a photo of it, it's still under police investigation
so they say, anyhow the bike is well and truley Fecked, top yoke parted from main frame, twisted forks, mashed front wheel, plastics all cracked and broken ect, ect, looks like insurance will scrap it, ah well, wifes happy, Stopped smoking though, havent had a ciggie for 8 days 9 hrs and counting, suppose something good has come out of all this. Take care out there everyone
