I'd send him the postage to get him back on the move. He's not reading his PMs.

I've been staying with friends in Glasgow for a few days and I decided to launch a rescue mission.

It was tough, but the good news is that Marm and ginger (with some help from me) have both managed to escape...

What is happening with Marm & Ginger now, where are they? where are they off to next?
Me and my wife are off to Ireland in about 3 weeks maybe they would like to see Ireland? When we get back from Ireland we will be travelling across to suffolk so taking in a fair chunk of the country if anyone wants to meet up and send him on his way to wherever next ?

Just borrowed a friends computer for a minute or 5 so figured I would post a quick update here.

I'm going to be in Glasgow for another couple of weeks, so if someone wants to pick Marm up to get him on his way again then give me a shout... at the moment I just want to get the funeral out of the way and make sure my friend is coping OK before moving on.

I had to change my plans when I offered to mount a rescue mission before. But.... Andy.... I am travelling all the way down the M6 corridor on the 13th Oct. I will gladly meet up to get him and take him down the road to meet someone on the M6 or at Bedford.

Looks like I'll be leaving Glasgow this coming Tuesday and heading back to Chepstow so can pretty much drop Marm off anywhere on the route back.

I will be on an extremely tight budget so can't wander too far off the motorway unfortunately.

As for the friend, He's coping well enough, but his problem is he's always had people to do everything for him (even though his mum was sick she would still do his washing, ironing and cooking... so I've just been showing him how easy it is to cook simple meals etc)

Well, no one asked about having Marm dropped off, so he came along for the ride back down to Chepstow... I would have got some photos on the way, but it pissed down quite a lot of the way, and I got soaked to the skin within the first hour on the road.

So if anyone wants to come and collect him, give me a shout as my bike is going to be off the road for a few days (front brake has all but disappeared, that and the MOT runs out on Thursday)
