Not misogynistic to say that at all, particularly when passing judgement on something as subjective as looks. Not many blokes are looking at the shoes at all.

I'd say the order of focus points for me at least, is face, boobs, quick glance at the crotch, legs down to the knees, then flash back up to boobs, then face again, all in less than half a second or so. Shoes don't get a look, ever, unless I happen to trip over the bastards in the middle of the night.

Personally I love my wedges cos they give me height while still allowing me to walk in relative comfort. I can't "do" proper heels for too long either........

You're talking about OTHER blokes (including yourself) who are not my bloke.

What's more you're using a stereotypical example which, I won't deny, may well be a general opinion amongst blokes - but doesn't take the individual fetishes (I am very reluctant to use this word in this context) of any one person into account.

I'm not deluded.
I know what my bloke likes.

Believe me, most of the time I am content these days to slop about in trainers and slippers.
I've spent 35 years, on and off, tottering around in high heels that I wore because I liked them, and I have always been very aware of the sexuality they imbue.

Almost always I slip them off and go barefoot as soon as I can possibly get away with it, cos I prefer barefoot best of all.

But high heels have always been a part of my wardrobe (sometimes the only part ) .
Now that I can't often wear them, I wear ones that I know he likes.

Hell, I'm half-convinced if I wore those blue plastic bags they call shoes (the ones you have to wear in operating theatres), my fella would still be in mega-octopus mode
