What do you all use for throttle/clutch cable lube.

Failed to find anything specific for the purpose in the local shops, is it fine to just use the generic stuff like wd40 etc Confused Question

Not WD40, it's too abrasive.
GT85 or a similar light oil would be better.

Cheers Thumbs Up remember my dad telling me gt was just a cheaper brand of wd when i saw it in his garage a few years back, there is an actual difference between the two then Confused

WD is not a lubricant, it actually degreases. Get something with PTFE in it or better still use nylon lined cables (which you do lube with WD)

I used a cable lubricator and jam a can of PTFE spray on the end. Then follow up with a blast of chain lube. Seems to work.
