Hi everyone. I'm new to biking and have had my 2007 YBR for a couple of months now.
Today I had a go at doing my first bit of proper maintenance today. I removed rear wheel to check the rear brake pads. Unfortunately, what I would call a "butterfly pin" snapped and I'm going to need to replace it. Can someone please tell me what the proper name of the part is?

The pin can be seen in the video at 0:15.

Thanks for any help you can give.

R pin are much safer compared to other pins coz it has some groove into it that simply locks within the edge of a bolt.

Eh? A split pin has its ends bent over to lock it. You don't get more secure than that unless you're wiring the fitting.
