Hi all

Had an accident on the Duc Wednesday with girlfriend on the back.

In short. I have whiplash and can't move my neck at all really. Girlfriend broke her hip and had surgery with 3 pins.

More details later on accident.

For now I'm booked in on a trackday Wednesday 26th June. Brands Hatch Indy all day session with Focused events.

I obviously can't do this now. It's too late for refund, have tried.

How ever I can do a name change at 15% admin fee. It cost me £115 and Neil Hodgson will be there on the day.

At the moment I'm left with £0 for not doing it. I appreciate its short notice if any one would like to buy from me please let me know. Will help at this time.

Thanks Karma

If the accident was someone else's fault you can claim that back.
If it was your fault you're in the doghouse for breaking your GF's hip. Smile

Thanks guys.

100% non fault. Roundabout pulled out on. Don't want to say much for insurance. Witness's police etc so ok there.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I can get the day off and I live nearby.. might be interested.. however:

A) I have a 33 Bhp licence, would they accept this?

B) I have a CBF500, would this be powerful enough for such an event?

C) I've never been before, am I experienced enough for this event?

Scootaloo they won't let 33bhp licence holders on. Bike is fine though. Also experience Isn't necessary they do different groups.

The event I booked was novice group. But once there if you are good you get moved up/down depending what group you start in.

The Don. Ill pm

It's Indy circuit.

Situation currently is: if focused events will let him change the name to me on monday afternoon i'll take it at the asking price.

If someone wants it bad enough to confirm things now and agree to pay the guy, go for it.

Sounds like a bad accident, how are you managing with things?

Edit, I guess she can still give a blowie with a smashed hip so you are ok.

Yeah quite a bad one, just feel a bit guilty as it was her who has come off worse even though the crash wasn't my fault.

I hadn't paid attention to myself on how I was till today now knowing the situation with her. My neck feels swollen and stiff (giggity)

I'm now caring after her, she's been home couple hours now which is good considering operation was Wednesday so I'm up and down looking after her. She's in good spirits and not put off biking at all Thumbs Up

Yes she may be able to do that but I think it's a bit soon Laughing and she now can hit further with her crutches!

It must feel bad that she is hurt worse than you, I am lucky that I have never had that misfortune. Will she get back on a bike?

Yeah feeling of guilt except was in a situation of hit a car or brake hard and hope for the best. Couldn't avoid the situation.

Yeah she's good like that. Was meant to be doing her test this year, shares my little XR.

She said she will get on the back again, after we get her a new set of leathers etc as all is scrap now.
