Has anybody had any success with those aftermarket helmet skirts?
I had a motrax one and it just ended up wrapped around my head every time I took my helmet off.
Someone I used to work with asked me where I got it from so I just gave him my one. I've never seen him using it though so I think he probably had the same problem ____________________ Yamaha FZR400RR 3tj

I've tried both the "windjammer" and the Motrax stopwind deluxe skirt.
The windjammer feels like shoving your head back where you came from. After a couple of years, the effect was heightened by it disintegrating into sticky smelly goo.
I felt that the Stopwind skirt worked better, it really did do a decent job of keeping wind (and rain and sleet and snow) away from my neck. I didn't have a problem when putting the lid on and off, just velcro and go.
Very much an individual thing though, I can see people not liking them. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Anyone know if the StopWind Deluxe is still available - looks a better solution than the windjammer or as suggested is it better just to DIY? ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750
