So the bolts on the bottom of my license plate were just... awful. Just awful. Had to rip them out with pliers, so what size nut and bolt do I need for my license plate? Thanks |

Most people use those yellow plastic numberplate screws and nuts (which are M6).
Attaching anything to a perspex numberplate with metal bolts is asking for it to crack if you do them up too tight.
I suppose a neat alternative would be to use a stainless domed M6 socket head cap screw through a rubber grommet with a plastic washer either side and a nylok nut.
You could fall foul of a bored copper if you attach them using anything other than a yellow screw on a yellow bit or a black screw on a black bit. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink.
