Hi all.

I have purchased a Spy all in one alarm (next one up from V2) and need some help fitting.

Indicator cables fitted fine, control box and siren fitted fine, problem is finding the ignition cable. I need to find the black wire coming from the ignition so I can cut it in half and put the brown and pink to one side and grey to the other for the immobiliser. Where the hell can I find this further back on the bike? Where does it run after it comes out and disappears down past the forks? Does it pop out again anywhere near the drivers seat? Where does this black wire go to after the ignition barrel?

I have found that one of the fuses cuts out the engine when removed and kills everything on the instrument panel. Can it be fitted to this wire? I'm thinking not but thought I'd ask.

Look forward to your help.
Thanks, Steve.

Congratulations. Maybe next you can work on posting things in the right section and smoothing off that snark a little.

Without trying to sound sarcastic, I had an issue with my bike and thought that 'bike issues' was the correct area to post it.

Well a little read of the text below the forum name and an appreciation of context would have saved you here, but I see your point. Laughing

For future reference this will help you out with posting properly.
