The first 20 seconds told the story!
Once it bottoms out, traction is lost ...

Thumbs Up top marks for getting out and giving it a go. If you hadn't tried you would still be wondering if you could have

Lower tyre pressures might have helped a little - as would studs for ice underneath. But bikes, as you can see, certainly aren't great on snow, especially as it gets deeper.

He likes it, but you can see the difference in our riding.

This example should suffice.

If I dropped my bike, I'd just pick it up again and ride it.

If he dropped his bike, he'd be gutted, and spend ages checking it over 'cos he's only just bought it, so he tip toes about on it.

But to be fair, it's not even run in yet, and he does commute on it too.

aw, you come off in a muddy puddle, I'm always doing that.

It's also why I joined a gym and started dieting, cos I huff and puff so much digging the bike out again Laughing

Yes but everywhere has a nice 12 inch layer of white padding that fell from the sky.

I do gear up properly when i go out but realized that my balls were not protected in this clip.
