where can you get accurate prices for sending parcels
with the post office and parcelforce for larger parcels?

couriers are ok but a pain sometimes with different rates for sending things out.

Been looking into sending a small parcel (less than 1kg) to Portugal and getting some horrendous prices, how does £25-50 sound Confused

I could probably get a flight for less, what the fuck is up with these people!! I received a box of cakes- probably larger then a shoe box- from Portugal, and the cost? 6 euros Mad Something tells me the Uk wins another *most expensive* award..

If it's under 1KG, then Royal Mail (not Parcelforce, they're kind-of sort-of not really the same thing any more) is probably cheapest.

Overseas courier deliveries are often expensive because they're offering a fairly quick service (2-3 days?), and they're coming specifically to collect from you first. Royal Mail can take weeks, but if it's not urgent...
