Hi, im thinking of doing my CBT followed by the DAS soon, I was just wondering how long you you think it will take some 1 who has never ridden a bike to get to the level to pass?
"Once" I have passed i would really like a 400, Do you think this is to much for some 1 who has just passed? If not what are your views on the ZXR?. I have also noticed alot of woman ride these, are they classed as a "womans bike" lol, cus i don't wanna be riding around and every one thinking i'm gay
Thanks for your help |

I don't think there is really a womens motorbike, however their are plenty of bikes for short arses Who knows how long it will take you to get to a decent standard on a bike, you might pick it up right away or you might just be crap at it. Get your CBT done and get on a 125, then see how you feel and you should get an idea of how long you need. It's all about confidence |

SO riding a short person's bike instantly makes you gay?
I'll be sure to look out for that in the future... ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

I'd get a 400. It'd be a good introduction to larger bikes after riding a 125 for a while. But that's the key thing i believe, riding a 125 for a while. You need to actually learn to ride a bike after you've done your CBT. The CBT is training and thats it. You don't actually know how to ride a bike till you get on the road and do it yourself. Don't be too eager to get from A to C without B. Thats how you end up dead. I'm going to ride my 125 for about a year I think before I contemplate doing DAS. Then I'll get a 400 and slowly progress up the sizes when I think I'm ready.
Start slow and build on your experiences. Well, thats what I'm going to do at least.
