Speedo cable

Quick question, are you meant to be able to pull out the inner of a speedo cable both ways? Or does that mean its damaged?

My cable looks ok but the inner comes out both ways. It's an old 70s honda cable.

Aye, the inner is removable - it just floats freely in the outer sheath.
