So I'm looking at going to the Belgium f1,
I'm pretty sure I'm covered, according to my certificate of insurance, but being the responsible adult that I am, I thought that I would phone to confirm.
I was told that I was covered, but would need to let them know the dates and which country's I will be traveling through,

I responded with, this seams quite important and surely if I need to let you know this, it should state it on my policy,
The young and clearly inexperienced lady said I have to let them know so they can make changes to the policy,
Now to me changes = more money for something I am already insured to do,

So my question is, is all this stuff she is asking pretty standard?
Or do I just go knowing I'm insured and not tell them.

Also 1 more question, has anyone here taken a bike to the Belgium f1, is parking a motorcycle at the track going to be a problem, and is it likely to cost me?

Thanks Shane

First you want to ask for it in writing - for example they can email you a copy of the correspondence.

Secondly it MAY be you're policy includes something like '1 months insurance in europe' or similar, so its essentially already paid for, but for the valid details to be on their system they will needs the specific dates - and to ensure you don't over-run said month.

But don't take my word on that its just something thats quite common, just make sure everythings documented either way. I also tend to always record the calls with anything like this as an additional record until its no longer relevant to keep the recording.
