Some kind of electrical stimulator from his heart to his brain, totally dampens the 'shaking' effect of the disease. Awesome.

But will he live longer? Is he essentially 'cured'?

Anyone know much more about this?

Hmm, interesting. I have a complete lack of pain reception and weird trembling in my right hand from brain damage in an accident, I was told it is the same area that would affect those with Parkinsons, would be nice to be able to hold a cup of tea with with right hand again Laughing

Very cool stuff Karma

From a medical POV... if i had to defibrillate this man, i wonder what the implications would be for the control box in his chest... i imagine it'd be fried...

Very interesting stuff!

From Wikipedia (with references):

If you were to defribrilate someone with one they would probably get their tremors back until the device was replaced...but better that than their heart not be beating.
