Posting on BCF or another phpBB with an iphone...

Is it possible to post with Tapatalk or suchlike? Will it let me upload a pic from say Photobucket etc? I don't like waiting to get home!

I don't think so, BCF is using some pretty out dated languages, but since re-writing every time a new version is released would take a huge amount of time, and since this is all free, it's not worth it

If you want to upload pictures, just get the Photobucket app, it's actually really good and I use the app instead of the web based uploader now because it is much smoother and faster.

The BCF system doesn't recognise any software written after 1998 unless it's for forcing ads down your throat.

I use an app called 'picup' on the iphone, lets you upload photos etc. without registering etc. You just copy the link into the img tags or whatever, works fine.

All coding is done by Korn, and he isn't massively fussed about this place any more. I suppose he has more interesting things going on in his life The adverts cause the place to pay for itself but it's not like BCF is a profitable business that requires his attention. So technical updates seem to get done on an a "as needed" rather than "would be nice to have" basis.
