...my M1 written test for my Ontario bike licence.
When I did my car test when I was 16, I did it on a computer kiosk with a touchscreen. 17 years later, I do the bike test on paper.
If you're bored you can do some sample tests here and check out the differences.
I now have 90 days to pass the road test or I have to start over again. What's ridiculous is there's no treaty for motorcycle licence exchanges between Great Britain and Canada... there is for Northern Ireland but not Great Britain!! All I get for four years of a full licence in the UK is credit so I can skip the middle stage of the licencing and basically go straight to the equivalent of direct access. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold). I think they're trying to avoid the situation in the UK where people just ride around on CBTs, forever.
I need to get off my butt and do it, now. What's interesting is that unlike Europe, someone with an M1 isn't restricted by power, but by speed: you can't ride on a road with a limit over 80km/h, or at night (or with passengers or with a blood alcohol level, etc). So you could in theory walk out of the testing centre and buy a 'busa. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold).
