Just lowsided my bike trying to get my knee down, I've been grinding the pegs so I was pretty sure the lean angle was fine, I just struggle to stick my leg out enough, might be because indo alot of weights and my legs are pretty big I'm not sure?

But anyhow can anyone recommend someone to repair my fairing not botherd about price, quality of workmanship is more important.

Just go buy some Mastik and sort it yourself?

Usually car body shops can deal with fairings.

As for knee down, it's about the same point as the peg goes down (unless you're REALLY hanging off too far - I know guys with chicken strips that have had their knee down because they weigh fuck all and have been hanging off a lot further than the bike is being leant).

Difference between peg down and knee down is body position.
Assuming you're on a roundabout say, that'd mean going right.
So you move your arse across til your crack is on the right edge of the seat and then you push your whole body off the bike and you should nail it!

I'm 2 metres tall and just shy of 16 stone and I can do it on my CG all day long.

Can also do it on the ZZ6R but I'd care a bit if I threw that on the floor whereas I wouldn't give 2 fucks if I dropped the CG

Thanks for the advice I'll give that a try here's hoping I can get this fairing repaired, all the stickers are fine justl the small area where it's scratched, so I don't want to go down the route of new fairing painted then find all the stickers and someone who can hopefully line them up well.

If you continue to ride like that on the roads it will happen again so why bother fixing a bit of minor damage?

Nail varnish is a good little touch up tool and often very cheap Wink
