Any owners who are bigguns out there and how are you getting on with them? I sat on one recently and felt I was perched on a toy bike Laughing

I'm looking at either the above or a triumph sprint 1050 as the next set of wheels so any experiences would be welcome Thumbs Up

Hiya,

I'm 6'5" and 15 - 16 stone. and my next bike is a sprint st 1050. brilliant test tide and looking forward to getting her delivered next weekend.

I have previously had a gixer 600, 08 plate. and it was great. didn't feel too big for it. Loved it until some twat knocked me off it 14 months ago. Would have another one as well.

Regards.

The k5 and k6 are different sized bikes, the k4 and k5 are essentially the same size, and have the tallest seat height of all GSXRs to date (that's one of the reasons I get on well with my k4)

The k4/5 750 is also considered to be the best GSXR750 made to date also, performance bikes wrote a big article/review at the start of the year about how it's far far superior a road bike to ANY of the more recent GSXR750s and its a 'must buy' for the fast road rider.

Any idea what month mate? I'd like a read of that Thumbs Up

OP: I'm 6'1 and 17st+ depending on how much shite I've eaten that month, size wise it's been perfect for me for the last 7 years!

Height wise you'll have no issue. If your a very heavy chap you may need a stiffer rear spring or expect to start eating rear tyres, that would be the same on most bikes however

I'm 6 foot four and 13 and a half stone and my k7 Gixxer 750 (same size as the k6) is absolutely fine, the seat is the most uncomfortable thing on long journeys, it's a bit of a razor blade.

Oh, and it's a fucking incredible machine.

March 2013 copy of PB.

Also the K4/5 750's are STILL the best looking ones made!
