when i put coolant into my gilera dna, the coolant instantly runs freely out via the engine oil return duct in the sump.
the top and bottom gaskets have been replaced beforehand, the issue is still there. the suggestions have been the head block itself. on visual inspection, the head looks fine. shall is still replace the head anyway?

Thinking interesting. I take it this is a 125? or are the 50s 4t now?

if its the head that's the problem, have you tried taking the valve cover off? (yes I know its a ballache being right in there, I had one Laughing )

its a 4t 125. i have taken the head off, and the cylinder to change the seals. even though i replaced the seals with new ones, they were 3rd party. my guess is that the seals were crap (i may be wrong). im going to use some oem seals or rubber sealant, and see if the problem remains. i have poured water into the cylinder and theres no cracks as the water will stay there.

i have narrowed the problem down. the coolant is coming out from underneath the bolts. its running off down the side to where the oil returns to the sump. this is why the coolant is leaking out from the oil return hole into the sump....new cylinder head time?....

I can not make head not tail of your pics, and I am not familiar with your engine at all, but are you sure you don't have a leaky water pump?

sorry the camera is atrocious. however, it is not the pump that is leaking. its all in the head of the engine. coolant will leak out of the head and into the engine oil return ducts.
