Same here - found out my ex was cheating on me to some degree or another from the start really. To be fair a fellow BCF'er (who also dated her) did warn me that she was of dubious 'morals'.
The fact that she had slept with over 45 different men (including the brother of her bf at the time) in the space of 9 years and caught STD's should have prepared me for the final outcome.

Anyway, I took the approach of "if you cant beat them then join them" and acted like a total slut for a few months.
This helped me get over it all by keeping me 'occupied' ... and by the time I had become bored of being a tart it was time to meet Mrs.Silky Smile

Summary:
1) Dump her sharpish.
2) Sleep around a lot.
3) Wear a condom.
4) Get fit.

Many years ago I was seeing this guy, I went on holiday for a week and during that time he started shagging this other bird. I sent him texts and got the cold shoulder or complaints about how I wasn't being "original or romantic enough" with him.

I dealt with this by laughing hard when I found out he got her pregnant. He cried to all that it was entrapment and she slept with him willingly to get herself preggo and then scam him for child support, it was so unfair! In actual fact he didn't like gloving up in the sack but shagged her anyway and she "forgot" to take the pill for the previous few months.

He was a proper berk.
