Well, I managed to pass my Mod 1 and Mod 2 on the first go.

Really pleased, after spending hours and £££ on training.

One thing I'll never forget: apparently the DSA don't like it when you operate the clutch and front brake with just two fingers, which I have the habit of doing. So ended up borrowing some winter mitts from one of the instructors so that all the fingers were stuck down the same bit of glove. They boiled my hands in the summer heat but did the job, as my pinkies kept trying to stray away from the levers during the test ride.

Kept expecting to hear the dreaded "pull over, and wait for your instructor to bring you back" to come over the intercom. Never did. The ride lasted 45 minutes but felt like 10. At the same time I thought it would never end and was actually surprised when we rounded a corner and ended up back at the test centre.

Now I just gotta sit back and wait for the new license to come through the post and for this thing to get back from the garage Smile the frame was bent apparently
