As of 09:30 today, I am a proper motor bicyclist.

Mod 2 passed with relative ease.

Now then where to look for a big ass bike to cart around

Nice going! So - got any make/model in mind? What's caught your eye - or, indeed, ear?

Cheers guys.

Fancy a transalp, but know of a 650 v-strom and an r1150 going locally

Either way, under £250 to insure so will have to see which has the better ride for me

Transalp - yeah, was having a dekko at one up at seaways t'other day. Got the whiff of unfuckwithability about 'em.

I can definitely recommend a Transalp. If you go to view one have a really good look at the rear wheel, they have a common problem with corrosion there. Congrats on the pass! Thumbs Up
