Hi guys, I do quite abit of cycling, the odd sportive and triathlon but mainly I just compete against myself. I have been riding the Scott s30 which has been a good bike for me but starting to get a bit tired. (I will still use it as a winter bike mind) Anyways my boyfriend must have been thinking along the same lines and has decided to get me a new steed. I like the look of the Kuota Kuraro but I was wondering if anyone had this bike and what they think of it. Also (since its his dosh!) what about the di2? Im just worried that the more high tech the more things can go wrong!

It's a £2.5k+ bike, it'll be awesome. I can't be arsed to debate whether that is the best use of that sort of wedge for a road bike, but it will be shamazing.

Personally I'd not have the di12 - I don't really see the point, and I too would be concerned of electrical bother.

That's the part bothering me! I'll have to do something epic on it to justify that cost. I actually didnt realise it was 2 and a half! He just took me to look. No wonder the shop woman said she can definitely do some sort of deal!!

You took the time to write a post on a forum about it, yet didn't Google it, or even look at the price in the shop?

Oh dear.

Nope he had seen it, took me to look at it and I didn't want to appear rude by diving straight to the price ticket to see what he was willing to pay! Looked at it in the brochure n just happened to be on bcf at the time so asked here whilst looking at reviews!
